Materials you need:

- Leather sewing needle.

Easy and simple instructions for making:
- Design and Pattern: Decide on the size and shape of your purse or bag. You can find patterns online or create your own. Draw the pattern on paper and cut it out.
- Cutting Leather: Use the pattern to mark and cut the leather or faux leather. Ensure an accurate cut with a circular blade rotary cutter . Make sure to cut two pieces for the exterior and two for the lining (if you choose to use one). Also, cut straps and other accessories as needed. If you prefer pre-cut leather straps, we provide these in various colors. Check out our custom-made leather handles.
- Preparing the pieces: If you are using a liner, sew the liner pieces together. Then, sew the outer pieces of the bag together, leaving the top opening unstitched. Explore our TST Adhesive Liners
- Installing the zipper or magnetic closure: If you are using a zipper, sew it in place at the top opening of the bag. If you prefer a magnetic closure, attach it according to the instructions provided.
- Assembling the bag: Join the lining pieces and the outer pieces of the bag together, with the right sides facing up. Sew the edges together, leaving a small opening to turn the bag inside out.
- Turn the bag: Through the left opening, turn the bag inside out so that the right sides are facing out. Make sure to press the edges firmly.
- Closing the opening: Once the bag is turned, hand sew the opening closed.
- Adding the accessories: Attach the buckles, rings, carabiners or any other accessories you want to add to your bag. Use pliers to secure them in place.
- Finishing Touches: Inspect your bag to make sure it is sewn properly and all hardware is secure. Trim any loose threads and make any necessary adjustments.
